Based on the sketch by: [link] Tattoo'd by: Steven Ben of Diamond Tip tattoo in Dapto, NSW, Australia took 6 hours and 30 mins to complete, done in three sessions. Before you ask, yes it hurt. No, I didn't cry. I'm a big girl now :] people get phoenix tattoo's for a number of reasons. the obvious: 1. rebirth 2. rising from the ashes and becoming stronger, over coming troubles, etc. but. 3. harry potter yes. i love harry potter. shut up. DONT STEAL. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Also, my experience has demonstrated to me that tattoo artists live by a different code of conduct from artists involved in the commercial art industry. As far as I've ever seen, they don't care if an image is copyright or trademark protected - they see it, they like it, and they use it at will. Anything they can pull off the internet is fair game. I gave up trying to fight it and finally decided that if people want to use what they see of my work, I'm going to have to accept it. I just watermark the hell out of my work these days and appreciate it when folks like you are courteous enough to ask permission and then share the results!
